There are a lot of questions you’re going to ask yourself when choosing your vibrator, (If you have not yet purchased a vibrator and not sure where to start check out our "My First Vibrator" article). This article is going to help you feel better about your choice and give you a basic understanding of how to use a vibrator.
The most important thing to consider is making sure you feel comfortable. Turn some music on you like and give yourself some real time to explore your body and find out for yourself what you enjoy the most. Lay back and run the vibrator down the length of your body and test out the different settings.
We’ll begin with your basic version such as the Jenna’s Velvet Jewel Vibrator. You’ll want to lubricate it so it’ll insert into your vagina smoothly. I’d recommend the Astroglide lubricant. It comes in a strawberry flavor that I like but it’s all about personal preference. Using the strawberry Astroglide will make it fun to slide the vibrator into your mouth to simulate oral sex or you can rub it between your breasts. It’s good to experiment in all ways possible to see what you prefer.
When you insert the vibrator into your vagina you’ll want to go at your own pace. You can go as deep as you want and find out what feels good. Many vibrators have different settings and I’d recommend always starting with the lowest one. You’ll find that each of the settings will stimulate you in a different way.
As I said earlier there are many different types of vibrators. For example, the Classix Rabbit Vibrator has an attachment that can stimulate your clitoris when it’s inserted, or when turned the opposite direction can stimulate your anal passage. There’s also the Naturals Vibro Double Penetrator. This vibrator is inserted into your vagina and your anal passage at the same time. Please make sure you have plenty of astroglide on hand. Another nice option are the waterproof vibrators such as the Playgirl Shower Mate. These give you the ability to use your vibrator in the shower without worrying about damaging the vibrator.
One of my favorites is The Classix Bullet Vibrator. It’s inserted much like a tampon and gives you the freedom to control the setting via a wired remote. I like this option myself because the only thing I have to do is turn the setting with my thumb to increase pleasure. It’s also quite portable and can be used just about anywhere. Same goes for the Double Bullet Vibrator that has two inserts, one into the vagina and one into the anal passage.
So whatever size vibrator you choose with however many options, just remember to have your Astroglide lubricant ready and make the time you need to pleasure yourself. Explore and experiment and have fun!!!
